Calbee UK selects Epicor Tropos to make its mark in the UK

Calbee UK, the Leeds-based arm of global snack leader Calbee, launched in 2014 to produce healthy savoury snacks but faced the challenge of building manufacturing and business processes from scratch. With limited staff and ambitious growth targets — plus strict industry regulatory and traceability requirements — the company needed an ERP solution to rapidly establish compliant, end-to-end production and control.

Calbee implemented Epicor Tropos to manage traceability, stock control, purchasing and finance, establishing a manufacturing process in under three months and processing customer orders within five months of go-live. The business passed its BRC audit, put products on major UK retailer shelves, and continues to improve efficiencies with EDI and planned barcode scanning, demonstrating strong operational and compliance gains.
