Auto Body Specialties (ABS) is a second‑generation paint, body and equipment distributor based in Sioux Falls, SD, serving five locations with about 70 employees. Facing thousands of SKUs and roughly 150 daily special orders, the company struggled with labor‑intensive processes and operational complexity that the existing Epicor Prism system could no longer handle efficiently.
Epicor conducted a time study and recommended Eagle for the Aftermarket to automate special orders and other manual tasks. Implementing Eagle (POS, purchasing, pricing, special‑order management and an eStore) let ABS handle a much higher volume—saving the equivalent of two full‑time positions—without adding staff, delivered payback within three months, and improved order entry for field reps and customers.
