Atlas Hydraulics, a Brantford, Ontario–based tier-one manufacturer of hydraulic hoses and tubing, faced the challenge of centrally managing production, purchasing, inventory and financials across five plants organized into three companies in three countries while handling 40,000 manufactured parts and 6,000 purchased parts. The company needed a robust ERP with multiplant/multi-company capabilities, advanced EDI and tight MRP control to meet strict delivery, quality and compliance requirements.

Implementing Epicor CMS delivered out-of-the-box ERP with integrated MRP and EDI, enabling centralized control of all plants without customization. Results included inventory accuracy rising from ~90% to 98.8%, 100% on-time shipping, retention of its largest customer by supporting a new Mexican plant, scalable growth as sales doubled, and a lean IT team managing the system.
