Amiantit gets its European business operations to flow with Epicor iScala 3.0

Amiantit, a global pipe technologies group with operations across Europe (France, Germany, Norway, Poland and Spain), faced the challenge of coordinating complex sewer and water-treatment projects across multiple locations and users. Employing over 600 people and managing more than €100M in regional revenue, the company needed standardised processes—captured in a 1,000‑page procedures manual—to unify decision making and day‑to‑day operations across its sites.

To achieve that standardisation, Amiantit upgraded its longstanding Epicor iScala ERP to iScala 3.0, using a virtual machine to test and migrate systems with minimal disruption. The quick, largely seamless rollout (most sites migrated within 12 hours) and a short training session put 106 daily users across 12 sites on the new system, delivering faster migration, consolidated business intelligence, integrated order tracking, and country‑specific compliance—enabling the group to operate as a single, more informed business entity.
