ALW, founded in 2005 and based in Oakland, California, designs high-quality architectural lighting and ships over 90% of orders within weeks. Their sales and dealer teams relied on an error-prone, Excel-based quoting process and slow build-to-order engineering drawings, leaving them unable to visually showcase options or scale proposal and design workflows.

ALW augmented Salesforce CPQ with Epicor CPQ to provide rules-driven configuration, on-screen product visualization and automated CAD output in SolidWorks, with the tool integrated back into Salesforce Revenue Cloud. The new solution went live in three months, now used by 50 sales reps and 300 dealers to produce accurate, visual proposals and automated engineering drawings.
