The Isle of Wight Council faced a significant challenge with its aging on-premise SAP hardware, which was end-of-life, alongside budget constraints and outdated system versions. To avoid a costly hardware refresh, the council sought a cloud hosting alternative and selected EPI-USE Labs following an open tender process for a migration and managed services engagement using their Data Sync Manager suite.

The results were a smooth, seamless transition with improved system resilience, performance, and access to current enhancement packs. The migration was cost-neutral for the council, avoiding a £600,000-£700,000 capital expenditure and providing a future-proofed platform with a dedicated support team.
