Purdue University transforms the future with S/4HANA

Purdue University, a public research university, faced the challenge of modernizing its outdated and overly complex financial structure. The university needed to upgrade to SAP S/4HANA to improve financial transparency, automate processes, and enable better reporting. They partnered with EPI-USE Labs to support this business process re-engineering initiative and manage the technical migration.

EPI-USE Labs provided a managed solution, performing a system conversion to S/4HANA 1610 and hosting all of Purdue's SAP systems. The solution included rapid prototyping on AWS and the migration was hosted across two redundant US data centers. Post-implementation results included a 7% payroll runtime improvement and 100% successful interface runs. Purdue achieved its goals of enhanced financial transparency, automated workflows, and significant cost savings.
