P&O Reyser successfully separates its SAP system from the Berge Group in only three months

P&O Reyser, a leader in Spanish port services, faced a significant challenge after being divested from the Bergé Group. They needed to carve out their data from Bergé's SAP system to avoid data privacy risks and gain autonomy, a project made more complex by a last-minute decision to migrate all historical data and the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. They worked with vendor EPI-USE Labs and its partner INETUM to address this.

EPI-USE Labs used its Data Sync Manager™ LT solution to successfully extract only P&O Reyser's data and create a new, independent SAP system. The project was completed remotely within the three-month deadline with no data loss or business disruption. The result was a fully autonomous IT landscape, with P&O Reyser's users experiencing no difference in their daily operations, allowing staff to focus on other tasks.
