JM, a leading Nordic housing developer, faced the challenge of protecting sensitive personal data across its SAP systems to comply with GDPR regulations and avoid penalties. The solution from EPI-USE Labs included tools like Data Secure to scramble data in test systems and Data Redact to erase personal data. This allowed JM to automatically remove sensitive information outside of its retention period and eliminate it from non-production environments, significantly reducing the risk of a data breach. JM can now efficiently handle data subject requests and has established a proactive framework for information security.
