Kellogg’s gets it all with Managed SAP Data Refresh Services

Kellogg's, a major global food processing company, needed to refresh test data in its SAP QA system without disrupting other ongoing projects. Their challenge was that a lack of quality, familiar data was frustrating users, wasting time, and reducing the effectiveness of testing. Kellogg’s engaged EPI-USE Labs to implement a solution using its Data Sync Manager (DSM) product and Managed SAP Data Refresh Services.

EPI-USE Labs provided a Refresh as a Service (RaaS) solution, using DSM to selectively copy specific, consistent business objects from production to the QA environment. This allowed for granular control over the data without overwriting information used by other projects. The results were significant: data was refreshed rapidly with no business disruption, a full month of testing was completed with no data-related issues, and test scripts were executed efficiently. The EPI-USE Labs team delivered the data on strict timelines, leading to a very positive project attitude and successfully meeting Kellogg’s specific requirements.
