Dunelm, the UK's largest homewares retailer, faced challenges with its outdated and misaligned SAP non-production landscape. Aging data was negatively impacting testing quality and increasing risk, while a lack of internal SAP Basis resources made refreshes difficult to prioritize. EPI-USE Labs was engaged to help realign the landscape and migrate systems to AWS.

EPI-USE Labs used its Data Sync Manager product suite to build new, refreshed DEV and QAS environments from a production snapshot, ensuring data and configuration alignment. They also scrambled sensitive data for GDPR compliance and helped formalize development governance and a refresh strategy. The project, completed in 12 weeks, resulted in an 80% reduction in storage space (from 17TB to 3.5TB) and provided Dunelm with a stable, cloud-based landscape for effective testing, significantly increasing confidence in their outcomes.
