How EPAM & Genosity Delivered a Comprehensive Solution to Support End-to-End Lab Processes

Genosity, a biotechnology company, faced the challenge of a fragmented IT market which lacked a comprehensive solution to support end-to-end genomics lab processes. This gap created a significant barrier to entry for many laboratories wanting to utilize next-generation sequencing (NGS) data. To overcome this, Genosity partnered with the vendor EPAM Systems to build a novel, all-inclusive software platform.

EPAM developed and deployed the Integrated Genomics Toolkit (IGT), a comprehensive, cloud-based solution that integrates modules for ordering, data analysis, and laboratory management. The results were impactful, enabling multiple institutions to successfully launch their first NGS tests. The solution significantly reduced implementation costs and saved labs hours per day by streamlining complex processes like variant interpretation and report writing.
