EPAM Systems partnered with FastWeb, one of Italy's leading internet providers, to address a key challenge. The customer wanted to minimize negative support experiences with internet peripherals and transition from a service provider to an organization that delivers both a product and a superior connectivity experience for the home.

EPAM designed the FASTGate modem and its accompanying ecosystem, which includes a web and mobile app. This solution provided users with real-time control and troubleshooting, minimizing frustration. The result was the launch of Italy's most powerful home connectivity device in 2017, capable of 1 GB/s speeds, with a goal of providing high-speed connectivity to 13 million families.
