Liberty Global, a leading broadband and communications company, faced the challenge of its outdated, siloed entertainment platforms which were costly and difficult to scale. To meet rising consumer demand for a personalized, cross-device viewing experience, they partnered with EPAM. The goal was to develop a single, scalable platform to deliver content anytime, anywhere, on any device.

EPAM implemented the next-generation Horizon 4 platform, which included a 4K set-top box with voice control, an enhanced mobile app for offline viewing and a new cloud-native microservices architecture on AWS. This solution provided a cohesive, multi-channel experience. The results for the customer were highly successful, including over three million users of the Horizon GO app, the highest Net Promoter Score for a Liberty Global product and the lowest video attrition rate in the company's history since its launch.
