New Era Cap Company, a global headwear and apparel brand, was challenged by its outdated B2B processes. The company faced a lack of self-service capabilities for its resellers and teams, no real-time design previews, and inefficient manual systems that hindered its ability to scale its digital business. Partnering with vendor EPAM, New Era sought to transform this experience using the SAP Commerce Cloud platform.
EPAM developed and launched a new B2B portal built on SAP Commerce Cloud, sharing a codebase with New Era's existing B2C sites. The key feature was an innovative 3D Cap Builder tool, which provided a self-service portal with over 500 logos and real-time, 360-degree previews for custom cap designs. The EPAM solution automated manual processes and integrated over thirty external systems. This resulted in a streamlined, transformative experience for B2B customers, enabling them to design and order custom caps in minutes and setting the stage for a global rollout to new regions.
