Burberry partnered with EPAM Systems to modernize its digital commerce experience while preserving the luxury brand experience customers expect. The retailer needed a more flexible, scalable technology foundation for its CMS, search and merchandising, and transactional systems, so it could move faster without compromising quality or control.

EPAM Systems helped Burberry replatform its commerce stack using a MACH-composable architecture, launching a new customer-facing CMS and commerce platform with a phased approach that included Browse & Select, Checkout, Home Page and Landing Page, My Account, and Search & Merchandising. The new CMS and DAM reduced the time needed to make changes, while internal teams gained intuitive, automated tools that improved productivity and enabled faster delivery of innovations such as new payment integrations.
