A EPAM Systems Case Study

Preview of the Vodafone Xone Case Study

An End-To-End Solution for Vodafone Launching and Branding Motoxone to An Untapped Motorcycle Market

Vodafone xone approached EPAM Systems to research, design, and deliver a new product to tap into an untapped market. Their challenge was to move beyond their successful findxone GPS tracker and create a specialized solution attractive to European moped and motorcycle users, a demographic identified as young early adopters.

EPAM implemented a solution by creating motoxone, a rugged, palm-sized tracking device and accompanying mobile app designed specifically for motorcyclists. Using an agile approach over three months, EPAM's cross-functional team managed all aspects from initial research and rapid prototyping to final brand development, delivering 120 working prototypes. The result was a successfully rebranded product that extended Vodafone xone's technology to a new consumer market, leading to a continued partnership between the two companies.
