A EPAM Continuum Case Study
Procter & Gamble (P&G) partnered with EPAM Continuum to reimagine its stagnant home-cleaning category, especially its outdated mop-and-bucket floor cleaning products. The challenge was to create a modern product that would help P&G drive growth in a market where competition was crowded and innovation had been minimal.
EPAM Continuum helped design the Swiffer around a “fast clean” principle, turning floor cleaning into a quicker, easier, more enjoyable experience. Launched in 1999, Swiffer generated $100 million in sales in its first four months and sold more than 11.1 million starter kits in the U.S. within a year, eventually becoming a $500 million annual brand for P&G.
