A ePACT Network Case Study
Sunshine Coast Minor Hockey, a long‑standing association serving about 230 players on B.C.’s South Coast, faced persistent problems from using paper emergency and medical forms required by Hockey Canada. Manual processes created lost or duplicated records, repeated reminders to families, a single unsecure binder that could be left behind, and privacy concerns from parents.
The association adopted ePACT Network’s ePACT emergency-data platform, enabling families to enter and update records once (data stored in Canada) and securely share them with coaches and safety managers via a password‑protected mobile app (usable offline). ePACT Network eliminated the paper binder, cut administrative follow‑up time, improved access to critical information at every game, and provided training and ongoing customer support—delivering clear time savings and stronger data security in the first season.
