The customer, unspun, a progressive Swedish outdoor brand, faced the challenge of making its denim products more sustainable and circular, as the production of a single pair of jeans consumes vast amounts of water and energy while creating significant pollution. To solve this, they partnered with vendor EON to implement a Digital ID solution powered by a scannable QR code on their Genesis jeans.

The solution from EON provided each garment with a unique digital identity, enabling unspun to record the product's journey and lay the foundation for a circular lifecycle through reuse, resale, and recycling. This brought critical visibility and traceability to the supply chain. The QR code also served as a communications touchpoint, directing customers to dedicated landing pages with educational content to increase engagement and awareness of the brand's sustainability mission.
