Coach, a luxury fashion brand, faced the challenge of driving product lifecycle transparency, scaling circular business models, and offering on-product authentication for its new sustainable sub-brand, Coachtopia. To accomplish this, they partnered with the vendor EON to implement its Digital ID product.

The solution, powered by EON, involved embedding a unique Digital ID with an NFC chip into every Coachtopia product. This allowed customers to scan their item, access a digital passport with product and environmental impact details, authenticate it, and register it for circular services like repair and resale. Key results for EON's implementation included successfully launching the program, with events like registration and repair being recorded on the Digital ID to create a transparent, circular product journey.
