ER-Telecom, one of the largest telecom and cable TV providers in Russia, needed a scalable video surveillance system for its branches across 56 cities. To meet this challenge, the company evaluated software from several Russian vendors and selected Eocortex as the foundation for its multisite CCTV infrastructure.

Eocortex implemented a multiserver video surveillance solution built around 5,000 IP cameras, with more than 300 camera streams processed by multiple servers. The system delivered efficient video processing, resilient recording and storage, plus monitoring, replication, and backup capabilities, and ER-Telecom reported positive long-term experience with Eocortex since 2011.
