Dube TradePort, a South African special economic zone serving airport-related logistics, manufacturing, warehousing, and commercial operations, needed to replace its existing Avigilon video analytics system because it did not meet the site’s broad safety and security requirements. The project involved 40 IP cameras and required a more capable analytics solution.

Eocortex implemented an ST license with multiple analytics modules, including tracking, crowd monitoring, people counting, and personnel monitoring. By using Eocortex’s wider range of video analysis tools, Dube TradePort gained better support for preventing dangerous and emergency situations and improved overall security coverage, with 40 cameras integrated into the deployment.
