A.S.Adventure, an international retail chain with 49 outlets across Belgium, Luxembourg, and France, needed a better way to manage security at a new store in Luxembourg while the main office remained in Belgium. The company faced challenges related to remote administration, theft risk, shoplifter investigations, and monitoring staff activity. To address these needs, A.S.Adventure worked with vendor Eocortex and its ST license-based video surveillance software.

Eocortex implemented a security system using just 22 IP cameras, supported by the Fisheye Dewarping module, which allowed one hardware camera to replace four virtual ones without reducing image quality. The solution also provided instant alarm notifications via email or messenger and intelligent search for quickly reviewing incident footage. As a result, A.S.Adventure gained a more efficient and cost-effective security setup with broader coverage, faster incident response, and improved post-event investigation capabilities.
