Case Study: LEAD Elementary achieves increased parent participation and streamlined bilingual check-ins with Envoy

A Envoy Case Study

Preview of the LEAD Elementary Case Study

LEAD takes extra care to create inclusive environment

LEAD Elementary, a tech-forward bilingual school in San Mateo serving a predominantly Hispanic community, needed to increase parent participation and make visitors feel welcome while eliminating slow, manual sign-in processes. Language barriers and cultural norms that discourage questioning teachers made it hard for families—especially non–English speakers and older visitors—to engage with the school.

By adopting Envoy’s Spanish-language check-in, automatic badge printing, and digital visitor records, LEAD created a friendlier front-desk experience that lets visitors sign in independently and helps staff personally welcome returning families. The system also produces accurate participation reports for the Parent Involvement Project, securing donor funding and saving staff hours previously spent transcribing paper sign-in sheets.
