The City of Port Moody, BC (Metro Vancouver, ~33,000 residents) struggled to engage staff and maintain transparency when tracking its 2019–2022 Council Strategic Plan using Excel spreadsheets. Seeking better accountability, momentum and communication across departments and with Council, city leadership engaged Envisio to manage implementation and replace the cumbersome manual process.

Envisio facilitated action-planning, delivered a centralized platform with dashboards, automated reminders and tailored reports, and trained staff—leading to 100% employee participation in the first strategic-plan update. With 38 staff participating, 29 general managers and supervisors owning projects, and 97 strategic projects tracked, Envisio’s live roll-ups and custom Monthly and Quarterly reports improved cross-department collaboration, transparency to Council and the public, and made progress reporting routine and measurable.
