City of West Hollywood - Customer Case Study

The City of West Hollywood’s Innovation Division needed to unite dozens of independently run technology projects into a single, people‑first smart city strategy that could be tracked and reported across departments. To align their 3 strategies, 14 cascading initiatives and dozens of action items, the City of West Hollywood adopted the Envisio platform to centrally manage the award‑winning WeHo Smart City Strategic Plan and provide secure, role‑based access for staff and leaders.

Envisio was configured to mirror WeHo’s plan structure and deliver Gantt planning, live dashboards, roll‑up reporting and operational/executive reports that make status, trends and priorities visible. As a result, the city improved cross‑departmental collaboration, rapidly reprioritized projects (for example advancing the smart street lights), and now tracks progress against concrete goals—helping the plan win the APA Technology Division’s Smart Cities Award and advancing West Hollywood’s delivery of smart city hall, streetscape and mobility initiatives using Envisio.
