Weston Financial, a Wellesley, Massachusetts–based wealth manager with $2.3 billion AUM and about 1,000 clients, faced decommissioned legacy systems, time-consuming home‑grown tools, and no web-based client portal — putting the firm at an operational and competitive disadvantage. To modernize and scale operations, Weston selected Envestnet | Tamarac and its Advisor Xi platform (including Advisor View, Advisor CRM, and planned Advisor Rebalancing) to replace manual processes and deliver a better client experience.

Working with Envestnet | Tamarac, Weston implemented a staged Advisor Xi rollout (data conversion to Advisor View in 2015, Advisor CRM in 2016, with rebalancing to follow), gaining a client portal that aggregates multiple custodians and integrated portfolio management, CRM and reporting. The Tamarac solution cut performance-report turnaround from more than a month to a few days, saved many staff hours, increased operations capacity by outsourcing custodial aggregation, enabled new scalable model-based offerings, and improved firm-wide reporting and client connectivity.
