The Union des Journalistes de Sport en France (UJSF) issues annual press credentials to sports journalists across France, but its cards were being counterfeited despite an embedded holographic security feature. To address the fraud problem and protect the value of its registrations, UJSF turned to Entrust and its partner ICTS for a more secure credentialing solution using the Datacard SD460 printer.
Entrust and ICTS implemented the Datacard SD460 with inline lamination, tactile impression, and a custom impression die to create tamper-evident, on-demand credentials that are much harder to counterfeit. As a result, UJSF saw a reduction in fraudulent cards and improved the security of its press credential program.
