Tower Federal Credit Union - Customer Case Study

Tower Federal Credit Union, a member-owned credit union in Laurel, Maryland, wanted to improve customer satisfaction after members had to wait seven to ten days — sometimes up to 14 days — to receive debit cards by mail. To address this challenge, Tower worked with Entrust Datacard and selected Datacard® CardWizard® financial instant issuance software.

Entrust Datacard implemented an instant issuance program that let Tower issue debit cards immediately in branches, speeding activation and reducing manual back-office steps. In the first year, Tower issued about 9,500 debit cards and saw higher interchange revenue, while also improving efficiency for member services and giving customers the convenience of walking out ready to use their cards right away.
