Navy Federal Credit Union, the world’s largest credit union serving military personnel and their families, wanted to improve convenience, service levels, and member satisfaction while reducing the wait for replacement and new debit cards. To meet this challenge, Entrust provided an in-branch instant card issuance solution using Datacard CardWizard software and CE870 instant issuance systems.

Entrust implemented an EMV instant issuance program that rolled out across Navy Federal’s 287 branches worldwide. The credit union saw reduced mailing and operating costs, shortened days to first use by 10 days, and increased debit card usage and transaction volume by more than 10 transactions in the first 30 days, while also improving member satisfaction.
