IBC Bank, founded in 1966 and serving communities across Texas and Oklahoma, wanted to stay ahead of changing customer expectations and improve the experience of getting a debit card. As part of its “We Do More” philosophy, the bank sought an instant EMV debit card issuance solution across all branches, working with vendor Entrust and its Datacard CardWizard issuance software and CR500 instant issuance systems.

Entrust implemented a branch-based instant issuance program that lets IBC Bank securely print and encode permanent, personalized EMV debit cards on demand. The result was the elimination of mailing delays and a better customer experience, with customers receiving new or replacement cards immediately; IBC now issues an estimated 24,000 cards per month, while also boosting debit card revenue and strengthening its competitive position.
