China Golden Dragon Technology Company worked with Entrust to help social security bureaus and partner banks in Shandong Province, China, issue integrated financial social security cards that also function as debit cards. The challenge was to enable instant issuance and on-demand replacement card printing in branches, replacing a slow process that previously took 30–45 days.

Entrust and China Golden Dragon Technology Company implemented more than 300 600 dpi retransfer desktop card printers, along with printer software, supplies, and support services, across local bureaus and banks. This enabled same-day card issuance, improved card durability and print quality, and gave citizens faster access to replacement cards and public services across Shandong Province.
