Fore Property Company (FORE) is a vertically integrated multifamily real estate firm that develops, owns, and manages over 19,000 apartments across 38 cities in 15 states. FORE faced a major operational challenge: on-site associates spent large portions of the day manually posting Craigslist ads, only to have many listings “ghosted” (visible to the poster but invisible to users), which wasted time, frustrated staff, and hurt lead generation.
To solve this, FORE adopted Entrata’s Craigslist Posting Tool, which streamlines posting, enforces best practices to reduce ghosting, and allows branded, more visually appealing listings. The tool cut posting time from 30–45 minutes to as little as five minutes, lowered ghosting rates by nearly 30% at participating communities, increased Craigslist-driven traffic and leads (Craigslist is FORE’s largest online lead source), and helped convert more leases across the 30 communities using the tool.
