Alliance Residential Company - Customer Case Study

Alliance Residential Company, the nation’s largest multifamily developer and seventh largest apartment manager, was relying on paper guest cards and manual, site-level lead handling that produced inconsistent follow-up and little corporate visibility. With leasing teams prioritizing only the hottest leads, secondary prospects were often neglected and tracking was subjective, so Alliance sought a more efficient, data-driven approach.

In 2011 Alliance partnered with Entrata to help develop LeadManager, a centralized platform that automatically captures online leads, consolidates walk-ins, offers call tracking, and provides a user-friendly dashboard to track the full lead lifecycle. The system improved response speed and visibility and, while overall conversion rate fell, total conversions rose significantly (for example, closing 20 of 90 leads versus 10 previously), giving Alliance more leads, better data, and stronger decision-making.
