Hjørring Municipality, a Danish municipality with ambitious climate goals, faced the challenge of reducing its CO2 emissions by 86% by 2030. To manage the energy consumption across its extensive portfolio of over 150 buildings and meet its target, it turned to Ento for its AI-based energy management software.

By implementing Ento's platform, the municipality gained a prioritisation tool that analyzes consumption data and external variables to automatically detect anomalies and identify the most impactful savings opportunities. This allowed the energy team to focus their efforts effectively. Using Ento, they achieved verified savings of 605 MWh of electricity in the first year alone, equating to approximately DKK 1,000,000 in cost savings, and established a data-driven process for continuous optimization and reporting.
