The customer, Jakala, faced the significant challenge of migrating 50,000 content items and 1,000 media items from a Sitecore CMS to an Umbraco cloud setup for a client. The goal was to reduce license fees and execute a flexible migration without causing a content freeze, all while ensuring data security and integrity across more than 60 different templates.

Using the Enterspeed platform to handle data transformation and migration, a secure three-step process was implemented. This solution involved creating a data dump, ingesting and transforming the data with Enterspeed, and then transferring it in continuous packages. This approach provided Jakala's developers with early access to real data, allowing them to build the new solution concurrently.
