A leading Singapore insurance company engaged Ashnik to modernize an application and fix a broken sales-data exchange with a partner bank. The existing process relied on periodic email transfers in non‑standard formats, which caused high manual intervention, poor data quality, processing delays and increased costs that hurt response times and revenue.
Ashnik implemented the ACORD industry data standard and deployed the EDB Postgres platform, integrating disparate sources and using XML/SOAP feeds (via Pentaho) for near‑real‑time exchange. The new solution reduced manual effort and reconciliation, improved performance and data quality, lowered operating costs — and, after a successful pilot, is being rolled out across the insurer’s Southeast Asia operations.
