A Enterprise Fleet Management Case Study
LACDC, a Los Angeles-based education organization, was managing a large fleet of 125 vehicles with an average age of 8 years and 76,000 miles. Despite having an in-house fleet department, the aging fleet led to frequent, costly maintenance repairs and inconsistent vehicle replacement, limiting available capital.
Enterprise Fleet Management implemented a comprehensive fleet management program that right-sized the fleet from 125 to 84 vehicles, added a Full Maintenance program, enabled daily rentals as needed, and shifted LACDC to an open-ended lease model with a planned replacement strategy. Enterprise Fleet Management helped LACDC save more than $300,000 per year, replace 60 of the oldest vehicles in Year 1, improve fuel economy with newer vehicles, and streamline maintenance and repair costs.
