Global EPP- Customer Case Study

Global EPP is a manufacturer of high performance engineering polymers with sites in the UK, Mexico, the Philippines and Russia. As the business moved from make-to-order to make-to-stock after expanding into extruded polymers, it needed better demand forecasting, capacity planning and stock control to support a much larger and more complex product range. Entalysis was selected to help them realise the full potential of this supply chain transformation using Entalysis Extensions.

Entalysis implemented Extensions to forecast demand across around 100,000 part numbers by mapping child products back to a few hundred parent products, align forecasts to plant capacity, and run daily MPS and MRP planning with finite capacity constraints. The solution also optimized work order release, supported vendor-managed inventory for distributors, and provided reporting for debtors, purchasing and sales. As a result, Global EPP improved supply chain efficiency, balanced stock levels to demand, and gained better control over production and replenishment decisions.
