Sport Buff is an interactive fan platform that delivers on-screen “Buffs” with posts, polls, and quizzes to boost broadcast engagement. Ahead of Qatar 2022, the company needed Ensono’s help to ensure its platform could handle a major surge in traffic while also supporting user profiling, segmentation, personalization, and deeper engagement analytics at scale.

Ensono built a real-time data platform on AWS that centralized and restructured Buff content, enabling Sport Buff to personalize experiences and help broadcasters tailor content based on viewer interest. The results were significant: 40 million viewers engaged with nearly 200 million Buffs during Qatar 2022, and more than 20 million extra minutes of broadcast time were consumed through Buff users.
