Ensono enables Guinness World Records public cloud environment to store 50,000 applications and more

Guinness World Records, the global authority on record breaking, was facing rapidly growing data and infrastructure demands as it evolved from publishing into a digital media and consultancy business. Its existing IT environment could no longer support the scale, flexibility, and SQL Server-based workloads needed for record applications, content, and media delivery, so it turned to Ensono for a public cloud migration.

Ensono led the move of Guinness World Records’ mission-critical workloads to Amazon Web Services (AWS), migrating everything out of the Ensono data center and into a scalable managed cloud environment. The result was a more agile platform that can now support 50,000 applications, 4K video downloads, and millions of annual record inquiries, helping Guinness World Records reduce project wait times and better support growth in key markets like China and Latin America.
