Commercial Equipment Supplier, a trusted provider of equipment solutions for more than 25,000 businesses across the UK, faced serious risk from an on-premises data center vulnerable to flooding. The company also wanted to reduce the burden on its small internal IT team, improve security, and move toward a PaaS and SaaS model, but needed help planning the cloud transition. Ensono supported the company with a discovery and assessment project to create the Azure migration blueprint and identify opportunities for Modern Workplace improvements.

Ensono then helped move the organization off its on-premises data center into Microsoft Azure and implement Modern Workplace technologies, including identity protection, mobile device management, AutoPilot, and Intune. The business now has improved agility and productivity, with 72 virtual machines migrated, including 65 reserved instances in Azure, and is continuing to work with Ensono on Windows Virtual Desktop and IoT initiatives.
