Broadcast Media Company, responsible for delivering live news and video to a nationwide audience, faced targeted social-engineering attacks and discovered an already compromised workstation while their legacy antivirus could not fully protect endpoints. They engaged enSilo to provide its endpoint security solution — a cloud-managed, single lightweight agent with next-generation antivirus (NGAV) and automated endpoint detection and response (EDR) capabilities — to secure workstations and servers and protect live broadcasts from interruption.

enSilo’s deployment identified a device infected with a remote access trojan (RAT) during the proof-of-concept, and when switched from detection to protection mode it blocked the malicious outbound command-and-control communication, effectively destroying the RAT’s control. enSilo was subsequently fully deployed across all workstations and servers, blocking outbound communications from a known terrorist group, delivering real-time automated protection and reducing manual incident burden for the Broadcast Media Company.
