Central Oregon Community College’s Continuing Education department, a 14-person team serving about 7,000 unique students and 3,000 registrations per term, was hampered by an old, unsupported registration system that required triple data entry and manual refund workarounds. The clunky workflow made online self-registration nearly impossible (77% of customers couldn’t register themselves), created time-consuming cashiering and reconciliation tasks, and generated added costs for manual refunds.
