Taps Social House & Kitchen, a gastropub in downtown San Francisco known for 45 taps and large game-day crowds, needed a way to engage its primarily young professional clientele on their most-used platform: social media. The challenge was to make customers aware that Taps is tech- and social-media-savvy and to drive more word-of-mouth referrals and in-venue sharing.

Taps installed an Enplug device on a TV above the bar to display a live social wall of Twitter and Instagram posts and encouraged customers to use #TapsSF. In the 90 days after deployment, Instagram users posting about Taps rose from 8 to 139 (17x) and Twitter users from 30 to 534 (18x), total posts grew from 204 to 2,465, and impressions jumped from 7,414 to 201,692—helping drive greater brand visibility and more business through the door.
