Rett24 grows to 10,000 weekly users with Enonic

The online law newspaper Rett24, a startup founded by legal journalist Kjetil Kolsrud, faced significant challenges with limited resources and a lack of in-house front-end development expertise. With a team of essentially two people, they needed a content platform that was both powerfully flexible for future growth and extremely user-friendly for a solo editor, all while operating under tight time and budget constraints. They chose the Enonic content platform to build their site.

Enonic provided an intuitive, flexible solution that allowed the duo to develop a custom, grid-based newspaper site locally despite connectivity issues. Using Enonic's built-in tools, responsive Page Editor, and easy third-party integrations, they created a streamlined site with only 10 core component types. The results were highly successful: Rett24 launched rapidly and grew to 10,000 unique weekly users. Enonic Cloud reliably handled massive traffic spikes of up to 1,200 requests per second, providing a robust and future-proof foundation for the growing publication.
