The Norwegian Electronic Health Library (Helsebiblioteket.no) faced a significant challenge in digitally presenting its massive, complex medical guidelines, some of which were over 400 pages long. Their initial single-page solution caused browsers to crash due to the immense amount of content loading at once. To solve this performance issue, they worked with their vendor, Enonic, and implementation partner 99x.

Enonic's solution implemented a "lazy loading" feature within its Content Studio platform, which only loads content as a user enters a new chapter. This maintained the user-friendly single-page layout while drastically improving speed. The result was the near elimination of complaints about crashes, and the solution's success led the collaborating Pediatric Association to recommend the Health Library to other associations.
