Bozzuto, a developed, owned, and managed multifamily portfolio operator, wanted to improve the online floor plan search experience on its community websites. With nearly half of homepage traffic going to floor plans, the company needed a more interactive, visually engaging search tool that would better serve tech-savvy prospects and help older or templated sites perform more like best-in-class experiences. Engrain provided the platform used to address this challenge, specifically its SightMap product.

Bozzuto implemented Engrain’s SightMap interactive floor plan search, which allowed prospects to filter by attributes like bedroom type, floor level, and balcony, while also showing context such as nearby amenities and parking. The results were strong: SightMap generated significantly more pageviews than static floor plans, including 459 mobile pageviews versus 135 and 336 desktop/tablet pageviews versus 92 in one week. It also increased average time on page, with returning users spending 4:27 on SightMap compared with 0:26 on traditional floor plans, and Bozzuto’s leasing teams praised the tool for both virtual and in-office use.
