Iterable, an AI customer engagement platform, faced significant challenges with its legacy SBT build system as its codebase grew. Slow build times, taking up to 42 minutes in CI and 20 minutes locally, hampered developer productivity and reliability. EngFlow provided the remote build infrastructure and expert support for Iterable's migration. This solution, implemented with help from VirtusLab, resulted in a 60% reduction in P90 CI build times, from 42 minutes to 17 minutes. Local builds became six times faster, and integration test pass rates improved to 97%, up from approximately 70%. EngFlow's platform created a faster, more reliable foundation for Iterable's engineering velocity.
